Nutrition

At Cronulla Beach Club, we believe training and nutrition go hand in hand.

It’s not about restriction. It’s not about extremes.

It’s about fuelling your body in a way that supports strength, energy and long-term wellbeing.

While Personal Training and Group Training provide the stimulus for change, nutrition is what supports recovery, performance and consistency. The way you eat influences how you move, how you feel and how sustainably you progress.

Our approach is built on evidence-based principles drawn from clinical nutrition and sports science. We focus on education, structure and practical habits that fit into real life. No crash diets. No short-term fixes. Just strategies that work alongside your training and lifestyle.

A Sustainable Framework

Rather than rigid meal plans, we provide guidance that helps you understand:

  • How to fuel for strength and performance
  • How to support recovery and energy levels
  • How to improve body composition sustainably
  • How to balance training, social life and nutrition

Many people train consistently but struggle to see progress because nutrition lacks structure. At CBC, we help bridge that gap in a way that feels manageable and realistic.

The CBC Nutrition Phases

Our structured nutrition framework is often delivered across six weeks and can be adapted depending on your goals.

Phase One

Reset and Refocus

We prioritise nutrient quality and portion awareness while supporting your training load. The focus is on building awareness and improving consistency, not drastic restriction.

Phase Two

Optimise and Progress

Small adjustments are introduced to maintain momentum and prevent plateaus. This might include refining portion sizes, improving protein intake or adjusting carbohydrate timing to better support Group Training, Reformer Pilates or Personal Training sessions.

Phase Three

Maintain and Sustain

The final phase focuses on long-term balance. The goal is not simply to achieve results, but to maintain them comfortably within your lifestyle. We prioritise habits you can carry forward — at home, at work and socially.

Individual,
Not One-Size-Fits-All

Nutrition is personal. Your training schedule, recovery needs and daily routine all influence what works best for you.

Whether you are working closely with a Personal Trainer, attending Group Training regularly or balancing Run Club and Reformer Pilates, your nutritional approach should complement your lifestyle — not complicate it.

At Cronulla Beach Club, our goal is simple:

Help you feel strong, energised and confident — for the long term.
